Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers to common questions about your first appointment, testing protocols, and treatment choices.

How long does the first fertility consultation take?
Your first consultation at Uyir Fertility is typically 45–60 minutes long. Our senior specialists spend time reviewing both partners' medical history, discussing lifestyle factors, and laying out a clear diagnostic plan without rushing.
Do both partners need to attend the first consultation?
Yes, we strongly recommend that both partners attend the initial visit whenever possible. Infertility is a shared journey (male factors account for roughly 40-50% of cases), and evaluating both partners simultaneously avoids delays and incomplete treatment plans.
Will we be pushed towards IVF right away?
No. At Uyir Fertility, treatment is strictly matched to your diagnosis. If your evaluation indicates that simpler methods such as Ovulation Induction or IUI offer good success potential, we recommend those first before considering IVF.
What tests should we bring to our first appointment?
Please bring any recent medical records including hormone blood tests (AMH, FSH, Thyroid), previous semen analysis reports, pelvic ultrasound reports, HSG X-rays, or records of previous treatment cycles. If you don't have prior tests, we can arrange them cleanly in-house.
Is male fertility evaluation kept private and confidential?
Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed. All semen collections and andrology evaluations are conducted in private, comfortable consultation suites with strict patient privacy standards.
